Loup Charmant, or the charming wolf in French, is a luxury fashion and loungewear brand based in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Today I had the pleasure of modeling a few of the FW2012 items, which is full of soft silks, warm wools, and crinkled cottons. Designed by Kee Edwards, the collection is “inspired by sensuous summer days, a life in peace and beauty, and the breezy feel of finely-woven organic and natural fibers.” My favorite part of Kee’s eco-conscious design aesthetic is that each season her collection integrates with the previous season fluidly, in that items from Spring/Summer can then be layered with warmer items from the Fall/Winter collection.
